Thing 12 Wikis

It was certainly easy to edit the PB wiki and easy to set up I imagine. It just seems to me that you would almost need to have a person on staff dedicated to monitoring content and keeping things updated if you were to have a wiki and blog, etc. While I'm glad to be aware of these things and may see uses in the future. . .
Still enjoy the Common Craft videos.

I guess I'm just obtuse but I still don't get it. I can't see the purpose in this & feel I don't have adequate time to really explore these things in the depth needed for me to actually be able to underdstand and see applications for them. I find much of this frustrating--not useful.

I LOVE the Common Craft videos! they are quick, easy to understand and get straight to the main points.

I can see a use for the delicious bookmarks and it would be nice to be able to access the bookmarks from any site. This would be much easier to organize as you go as opposed to trying to retrorganize all the bookmarks I already have. Again, this seems to take up quite a bit of time and I find it hard to devote the time this would take when I have "real work" that needs to be completed.

I can see how students would love to do these kinds of projects--maybe a new way of doing orientation.
