I can see how IM would be useful in a college environment and reluctant students might be more likely to ask for help that way.
I like the OPAL and was trying to find something useful for ISL to view as a group.
I think webinars ARE very different environments and have many different requirements for presenters. I've attended SOME that were very effective and the presenters were well aware of the challenges and others--not so much.
Sometimes email is useful, and sometimes, useless when you really need to speak with someone f2f. It is frustrating when emails are not answered/returned.
